Website Traffic and I PDF Print E-mail

I've started to embark on the mission of generating extreme website traffic.  Why you ask?  Well, I'm sick of working for a living. :)  I'm looking to generate some of that passive residual income so I can become a rich fat cat.  Sadly though, in my search, I've found that I'll still be working for a living, as there's quite a learning curve, even for a techie like myself, and I still have to put the time in like any other business.  Yet, I predict the rewards will be greater as the residual income builds.

So where do I start?  The net is filled with sites offering the simplest, most effective, systems to generate traffic.  I've checked them all (or at least most of them).  Blogs, RSS, SEO, Podcasting.... Which one is the magic bullet?  The fact is, they are all important.   They all help to get your information out there and that is definitely the goal.

In my search, I found a system that really works.  It actually provides you with almost all the tools and training needed to market on the internet.  And, it's free to use (no time limit). This company was letting me check my results before handing out any of my hard earned cash, so It really caught my my eye.  Most of the other offerings wanted money upfront for a system that may or may not work.  You can check it out here.

The other tool I'm using is RSS.  RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.  It's a way of distributing news articles throughout the internet.  Basically, it allows you to push your content out instead of waiting for someone to come in.  Blogging and Podcasting are simply tools that work extremely well with RSS.  Blogging systems allow you to create your own articles and them have them automatically added to your RSS feed.  Podcasting is basically the same as Blogging, but with audio as the content.  The article your are reading right now is my first Blog entry :).

Check back later for more of my ongoing internet saga....
